REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  • COMMERCIAL INVOICE - Minimum of three (3) copies required. 

  • CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN - Required.The Certificate of Origin Form A is used for goods claiming GSP treatment.  For goods being shipped under the LOMÉ Agreement, the EUR 1 Movement Certificate is used.   When goods are not shipped under any of these agreements the German Customs Authorities may request proof of origin in the form of a shipping document, invoice, correspondence, or some similar document.
  • PRO FORMA INVOICE - May be requested by an importer.
  • BILL OF LADING OR AIR WAYBILL - Required.  There are no regulations specifying the form or number of such documents required for any particular shipment.
  • PACKING LIST - Not required, but useful.

  • OTHER DOCUMENTS.

Sanitary Certificate - Sanitary Certificates are required for imports of plants and plant products and some animals.

Health Certificate - Imports of fresh or frozen meat must be accompanied by an Animal Health Certificate.

 

  • WEIGHTS AND MEASUREMENTS - Metric System.
