CARICOM/Venezuela Agreement on Trade and Investment

The CARICOM/Venezuela Trade and Investment Agreement became effective on 1st January, 1993.  Under this agreement, Venezuela has agreed to grant products originating in member states of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) free access to its market by means of the implementation of programmes of tariff reduction and the elimination of non-tariff barriers.  With this Agreement comes a list of products (available at the BIDC) for which there is immediate duty-free access to the Venezuelan market.
