Exchange Control Act, CAP. 71 - FORM EX

The use of the FORM EX allows the Central Bank of Barbados to monitor foreign exchange entering the country as a result of exports.  This form must be completed in duplicate and presented to the Comptroller of Customs in respect of all goods sold and exported to destinations outside Barbados.

When payment has been received, it is the duty of the exporter or his agent to present the duplicate to his bank in Barbados, which will certify receipt of payment.  The certified duplicate should be returned to the Central Bank of Barbados within five days after endorsement by the exporter’s bank.

Exporters are advised to carefully read and comply with the instructions on the back of the duplicate FORM EX.
